About the District

The project site is in the
Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi (GPM)
district, on the Chhattisgarh-Madhya
Pradesh border. Known for its rich
cultural history and natural beauty,
GPM was established as Chhattisgarh's
28th district, covering approximately
2,307 square kilometres. It includes
three tehsils, three blocks, and 223
villages.

Factors favouring farmland development in the GPM district

Climate

The district enjoys a tropical climate, with hot summers, moderate rainfall and mild winters. Such conditions are suitable for both avocado and sandalwood plantations.

Soil and Environment

Avocado and sandalwood trees thrive in sandy loamy to loamy soil with good drainage and a pH of about 6-7. The GPM district is rich in this type of fertile soil. Its rural landscape and ample land availability further boost its farming potential.

Ease of Doing Business

Chhattisgarh's government is improving opportunities by supporting new investments in agriculture and tourism. GPM's natural beauty and cultural heritage further aid eco-tourism and agricultural ventures.

Market Potential Over the Next 10 Years

The GPM district presents a unique combination of natural beauty, agricultural potential and improving infrastructure, making it an attractive destination for long-term real estate growth.
